I hold an MFA in the visual arts from the Columbus College of Art and Design, a BA in fine art from Otterbein University, and an AAS in Graphic Design from Columbus State Community College.
I taught Graphic Design at Columbus State Community College for 9 years and worked as an Art Director/Creative Project Manager at Williams Lea for 3 years.
I look forward to my next creative journeys and seeing where life will take me.
I call myself a fine artist, a graphic designer and a teacher. I work both realistically and abstract.
My focus is in painting, drawing and sculptural stick art, but I also experiment with mixed media.
My newer work embraces recycling and reusing materials.
I love earth art and plan to incorporate more natural elements into my art. My goal is to develop an eco friendly art practice.
Art has been one of the greatest healers in my life.
When I was born, my aunt brought markers and a sketch pad to the hospital room for me! I guess she already knew the path I would take.
There is always something to create, explore and discover. I am never bored.
I love being a mom.
I love to travel and have a bucket list of places I want to experience. One of the highlights of my life was my time in Israel…and here in the desert on a camel.
