I’ve always been interested in photo composites and blending my family’s past with my present life. Below you will see manually created photo transfers where I use large xerox copies of old family photos. I create the composite, adhere it to masonite, and use soap and water to brush away the paper backing, leaving only the black ink. I then colorize them with acrylic washes and add my own graffiti-like touches with spray paint and acrylic. Lots of labor involved but fun!
